2024 - 6 Months of Inspiration Update

What an incredible first half of the year it’s been for the Driven By Us community! Here’s a roundup of everything we’ve done so far. 

⚡️ We kicked off the year with our first public event Autosport International and featured on stage with our representatives Stephanie Alexander ! It was great to speak to organisations, business and motorsport fans about our mission. 

⚡️ Partnered with Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK) to provide student with invaluable information about careers in motorsport with Stephanie and James 

⚡️ We supported Motorsport UK by delivered an activation for their Race for Diversity Programme featuring Cayana 

⚡️ Our academy drivers have been competing in the FAT Karting League and have all been doing a fantastic job. We can’t wait to see how the rest of the year goes for them all. 

⚡️ We’ve also been at career fairs this year represented by Laila Fadli Dokkali & Carlson at Uxbridge High School and Asha and Aisha at Mulberry School giving pupils more insight into motorsport careers and pathways. 

⚡️ We attended the 10th anniversary of Black Book Motorsport Forum and were invited to the Royal Academy of Engineer’s Motorsport Event and held an community members karting event! 

⚡️ Collaborated with Females in Motorsport for Black Inclusion Week and an event for International Women in Engineering Day for 100 Young Women from ethnic backgrounds that are aspiring to be engineers at Silverstone UTC 

A huge welcome to all of the new faces that have joined us over the past six months. And a massive thank you to all of our members for the support and hard work they put it. 

It’s been a very busy and productive six months but we’re just getting started!
